Description:

This polyline shapefile represents the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) for New Jersey extending from Manasquan Inlet to Cape May harbor. The Stockton Coastal Research Center (CRC) heads-up delineated the part of the ICW from Manasquan Inlet to Little Egg Inlet.  The southern extent of the ICW polyline (Little Egg Inlet to Cape May Harbor) was provided as a separate shapefile to the CRC by Daniel Caprioli of the USACE (see contact info below).   Both polylines were delineated using 2000/2005 georeferenced 1:40,000 NOAA Nautical Charts and then merged into 1 seemless polyline shapefile by the CRC.
