This dataset was created from Boaters Digest (June 2005) - Special Section "Dock N' Dine."

This data is an Arcview shapefile.

Locations were derived from decimal latitude and longitudes and reprojected into New Jersey State Plane coordinates(NAD83 ft).

Data verification was performed to ensure all locations were in the generally correct area on the map.  The 2002 aerial photographs(available for download from NJDEP) were used to reposition dining locations that were found in improper locations.  The improper decimal latitude and longitudes were replaced by the corrected coordinates.
