Unconfined Disposal Site

112 – Beach Haven West #1

113 – Beach Haven West #2

Beach Haven West, sites #1 and 2 consist of two unconfined disposal sites. Both sites appear to have only been used as side cast disposal sites during the construction of the Beach Haven West lagoon residential development in the 1960’s. The sites are between NJ Route 72 and Beach Haven West Blvd. They are both heavily vegetated with trees and Phragmites. Both sites are less than an acre in size and do not have visible dredge material on the surface. Site #112 is privately owned, #113 is owned by Stafford Township. GPS and sediment data were not collected at either site.
