Project 1:Unconfined Disposal Site
146 – Cedar Creek Point
146 - Cedar Creek Point is a 1.5 acre municipally-owned unconfined disposal site in Lacey Twp. It is located 0.50 miles north of the Laurel Harbor lagoon community, with its eastern side bordered by the Barnegat Bay and the mouth of Cedar Creek directly to the north. The site has no berm confinement and it is moderately covered with vegetation. GPS and sediment data were not collected for the site because the site lacks any evidence that it might be utilized for future dredge material storage. It is however, excellent Terrapin turtle nesting or shorebird habitat.
