Unconfined Disposal Site

 

165 – Drum Point #1

166 – Drum Point #2

 

Drum Point #1 and #2 are two municipally-owned unconfined disposal sites (UDS) in Brick Township.  The two sites are located alongside the lagoon channels in Shore acres.  Both sites are small (0.5 acre) single-use sites that are moderately vegetated.  These two sites are likely related to the initial digging of the lagoons and prospective future development of the remaining marsh as home sites.  GPS and sediment data were not collected for either site.
