280 - Highs Beach
This site is a, 1.7 acre, Confined Disposal Facility (CDF) located in Middle Township, Cape May County. The site is located less than 1 mile east of Route 47 and is accessible via Conswell Road. There is a relatively low berm (approx. 3 feet) surrounding the site with a higher area located on the southeast corner of the CDF (approx. 8 feet). There is no evidence that dredged material has been previously placed in this CDF. Sediment volume calculations based on Triangular Irregular Network (TIN) analysis is estimated to be approximately 4,700 cubic yards. This site is owned by Thomas Saltsgiver, et al. This site was not visited in this investigation. It is unlikely that this site will be used for future placement of dredged material. |
