308 - Old Canal #2 This site is a large Confined Disposal Facility (approximately 318 acres) in Logan Township, Gloucester County. The site is located on the Delaware River and accessible via Flood Gate Road. The CDF is made of three cells with a well defined berm surrounding the site and interior dikes separating the cells. The elevation of the berm is approximately +30 feet and the interior of the site ranges from +2- to +30 feet. This is a legacy site and is covered with vegetation and moderate to dense tree coverage over the entire area. The site is owned by the American Atlantic Company of King of Prussia, PA. Sediment volume calculations based on Triangular Irregular Network (TIN) analysis is estimated to be approximately 7,300,000 cubic yards. This site was not visited as a part of this investigation. |
