Unconfined Disposal Site – UDS

180 – Black Point Creek

Black Point Creek #180 is located in the northern part of Rumson, NJ. It is accessible by road via Barley Point Road, or by boat. Possible private ownership due to signage for a gun club and an existing skeet shooting range. The site elevation was about 5 feet.  The surface soil was sandy, and the area was wooded with tall trees.  No cores were taken at this location.  The proximity of dense development, the existence of a decent natural enclave of forest within the Rumson area make this site of low probability for future dredge material use.
